Great value for money.
Pros: great location- 3 mins from Lancaster Gate tube station, 10 mins from Paddington.
Room: comfortable size for this price range. Compare to Quality Crowne beside Paddington which has no room for a suitcase except on the bed (yeuch- after dragging it through spitty streets?)
Bathroom: comfortable size- full tub/ combo shower. Plenty of room for toiletries. Plumbing is quirky, as often the case with converted old builings. (Building is a pleasant Victorian with lovely wood panelled lobby, library and pub.
Breakfast: Good selection of cereals, yogurt, meats, cheeses and breads.
Cons: Spartan room décor, described as "Scandinavian" looks more inspired by a Sixties Motel. Also looking a little shabby. Minute elevator and narrow corridors (to be expected- it is a Victorian building.). Factor in waiting time at check out.
