Brick Lane (Osborne Street is lower Brick Lane) is London's "Williamsburg" , art scene hipster bar warehouse edgie neighborhood. The City Hotel is located at the quiet part of the street, but within minutes one can be in the current club/art/bar scene in London. Very big rooms, clean, near the tube. I had no troubles making tube connections to anywhere in the city (Buckingham palace, Tate museum, Tower of London is a short walk) and outside destinations like Windsor castle. Will definitely be a repeat customer. And the street has the best indian/pakistani/bengal food I've had.
