Tube stations are within close proximity, offering a very short, direct connection to many of London's top attractions, including Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, and the National Gallery. For the shopaholic, the fashionable Oxford Street and Bond Street are also close by, as is trendy Notting Hill and the famous Portobello Street flea market. Amenities:

Generally good - only downsides were:
the shower was tiny;
our room that was a scramble up and down stairs from the lift, which was kind of quirky;
our room was far too hot and the air-conditioning wasn't working.
But the bed was huge and very comfy.
We were told breakfast was included when we booked, told it was not when we checked in, and then when we came to pay after two nights, told that it was included so we didn't have to pay extra for it. All a bit odd but OK in the end.
