Not the best hotel in town, but at this price, anything else was at least another 20 minutes on the tube AWAY from downtown. It's best feature was it's proximity to the subway--only 1 block from the West Brompton station. The next best feature was the free continental breakfast--only toast and jam, but enough to get started for the morning. Other than that, it was a regular cheap hotel with a small room and a small bathroom. It was clean and there was plenty of hot water. On our first day, they let us check in early at 9 am, which was great after an overnight flight from Philadelphia. The beds weren't very comfortable and there was no A/C, but I wasn't expecting much. I wasn't in London for the hotel. The Kensington and Chelsea library is just a few blocks away (ask at the desk) and we got 1 hour of free internet every day.

This hotel is nothing like the pictures it shows on its website. The room was very small and in a bad state of repair, the whole place was shoddy and if the pictures were realistic we would never have booked a room there.
