The Marble Arch, which once stood before the Buckingham Palace, is within walking distance, and for avid shoppers, the nearby Oxford Street offers a satisfying range of boutiques. The Heathrow Express terminal at Paddington Station is immediately adjacent, providing the Paddington's guests convenient airport access. The Lancaster Gate tube station is also within a five-minute walk, providing access to the West End.

Each of the 67 newly refurbished rooms has air conditioning, satellite television, direct-dial telephone with voicemail service, and coffee and tea making facilities. Very hot in the rooms. There wasn't any air conditioning and we really needed it, but everything very clean and comfortable.

Good access to railway and tube system. Only negative was the fact that the elevator was out of service and room was on the 4th floor. Staff never offered any compensation for outage (ie free breakfast, dinner).
