However compared to our stay in November 2009 at your sister hotel in Stoke-on-Trent (the north Staffordshire) which was of a better service and standard at a lower cost than the International, I therefore conclude the International is not a good value for money, both rooms and staff need complete makeover & retraining.

I thought the hotel was beautiful and very accessible, even though it was a good 45mins outside the city of Westminster. Therefore it is not good if you can't manage the steps of the underground! The hotel was classic and grand, it had many restaurants, the food was sometimes cold only on the buffet (as most places) but it was still ok to eat. I would definitely stay there again.

Very tired decor, paper thin walls between rooms, no fridge, old tv with very little programs on, staff not too helpful.

The International Hotel is situated right next to canary wharf.
Full english is £13.5. Parking is £21/24 hrs. We opted to drive to Epping rail way station and park up for the weekend this cost us £3.50/Friday, £1.0/Sat and £0.0/Sunday. Total £4.50 for the weekend.Purchased 2x 3day underground tickets for £20 each this covered all zones.

The hotel is a bit dated in the decor but it was very clean. The staff were very helpful and polite. We didn't have breakfast included so I can't comment on this. There are a number of very nice bars on Canary Wharf which is about 5 mins walk from the hotel. I would stay here again as it was convenient to get into London and the hotel was a good base.
