At the Park Lane Hotel situated in the exclusive Mayfair district, guests are treated to peaceful views of Green Park or Mayfair but are still only a few minutes' walk from the bustle of Central London, including world class shopping at Knightsbridge and the theatrical excellence of the West End. Oxford Street, Buckingham Palace, and The Royal Academy are also within walking distance.

With a red mansard roof atop the white stone facade, this 1920s-built Art Deco hotel is so quintessentially English that classic British television programs such as "Brideshead Revisited" and "Jeeves and Wooster" were filmed here. All 305 rooms have high ceilings and understated decor. High-speed Internet access and satellite television are available in every room. Beds are furnished with goose feather and down pillows. In-room spa and salon services are available and there is a hair salon right on the premises. For the business traveler, meeting rooms are equipped with all the latest high-tech necessities. The Citrus Restaurant serves Mediterranean haute cuisine.

Room # 144 needs a serious makeover or total shutdown. No pay-per-view TV for 5 days despite repeated reminders to repair the same from day 1. Telephone was not working day 1 until repaired the next day. Cable internet in room not working (WiFi card needed to be purchased every time from reception). Washroom not up to standards (old plumbing etc.) Shower insufficient and not maintained. All in all if it wasn't for the discounted price I would have been extremely disappointed. All staff however were very friendly and cooperative and helpful.
