I was given a 3 bed room as a single - suitable only for students. - David from Dewsbury, GB (more) Among the many London sites that are within easy walking distance are Hyde Park, Regents Park, Kensington Palace and Gardens, and the trendy Notting Hill neighborhood. Shoppers will be delighted with the stores at nearby Whiteley's shopping center and Harrod's department store, along with boutique-lined Bond and Oxford Streets, the Knightsbridge area, and the antique store haven of Portobello Road. Authentic pubs and fine dining establishments abound, and the West End Theater District and bustling nightlife of Piccadilly Circus are just a short distance away. After a rejuvenating rest in the Pembridge Palace garden, you can head to the convenient Baywaters or Queensway tube stations and make your way to whatever part of London beckons next. Amenities:

I'm normally not very fussy when it comes to choosing hotels but this one really was as bad as some reviews I had read said. So I really wouldn't recommend it. Thank you.

Cheap and cheerful. Very good value for Central London, but that comes at the price of leaky ceilings, staff forgetting keys to the kitchen, and hordes of Sardinian schoolchildren stomping round the place. Still, you probably won't do better for the price.
