Nice hotel, a bit small for the first room, but the hotel moved me into a bigger room and the cost wasn't that much more. - Robert from Seal Beach, CA, US (more) Business travelers will appreciate the 12 conference rooms and a business center with high-speed Internet access. All guests will enjoy the restaurant and bar, WiFi throughout the hotel building, an on-site gym, and data port and satellite TV in every room. The on-site restaurant, Pavilion, offers an extensive a la carte menu comprising international cuisine, vegetarian, and traditional English dishes. The more informal Pavilion Bar serves food in addition to a wide selection of wines, spirits, cocktails, and fine cigars.

I read reviews of this place online, but not until after I made the booking, and I was a little concerned about the reports of rats and filth. I'm happy to say that somebody was either making it up or the place has recently been redone, because it was clean and bright, new flat panel tv, warm and friendly staff (which is not something I require, but worth noting, since other reviews said otherwise), no rats, no filth, free apples on the front desk, wireless internet access was cheap and reliable, they have a helpful concierge, and probably have everything an American traveler would want (since I know we are picky about European standards). In a great location (close to museums, Harrod's, tube and Hyde Park). Almost right across the street from a great old church. This hotel calls itself a 4 star hotel...if you are American, you'd probably call it 3 star. Try to ignore the number of stars and what you are paying per night, if that's how you calculate value. Europe is not America and European hotels are going to be different than what you find in the US. That's part of the joy of traveling...and I recommend this hotel.
