National Gallery

The National Gallery is one the greatest collection of Western art found under a single roof. The best part of things is that visitors can see these precious works of art for free. The National Gallery has a permanent collection of Western European paintings dating from around 1250 until 1900.

The venue houses some of the most beloved artworks such as Sunflowers by Vincent Van Gogh, Bathers at Asnières by Georges Seurat,  The Fighting Temeraire by Joseph Mallord William Turner, Bathers at La Grenouillère by Claude-Oscar Monet, The Virgin of the Rocks by Leonardo da Vinci and Samson and Delilah by Peter Paul Rubens.

Visitors can also take part in free talks and tours for adult visitors, and explore National Gallery's paintings in more depth through debates and discussion groups.

Arouse your creative senses and try their practical sessions that include free lunch-time 'Talk and Draw' activities, one-day life drawing, printmaking, sculpture and writing workshops. The National Gallery's also holds informal evening events and brunches.

Other attractions in the neighborhood include London Eye, Piccadilly Circus and St. Martin-in-the-Fields.
