At the London Aquarium, discover the largest display of aquatic life you have ever seen. This aquarium is housed in County Hall, the former headquarters of the Greater London Council on the south bank of the River Thames.
The London Aquarium has three levels, showing off 350 species in over 50 displays. The various varieties of fish you will find here include sharks, stingrays, clown fish, moray eels, lion fish and side walking crabs. London Aquarium has more than 2 million liters of water used to house the aquatic collection. Visitors will find as well interactive displays and information about endangered species.
The London Aquarium defines the world's water in the Virtual Voyage, which has 14 zones that represent the 14 types of water in the world. In the freshwater stream zone, you will see fish that lives in such waters, like Grayling and Minnow. While you are there do not forget to see the divers hand feeding the dangerous sting rays and sharks.
A thing good about London Aquarium is that they keep adding new features to the Kids Zone to keep the kids coming in large numbers. Kids can take virtual voyages or view pictures of fish from various parts of the world. While you go in, see the car filled with fish.
