Hyde Park

Hyde Park is one of the largest royal parks in London, spanning of 142 hectares (350 acres) offering something for everyone who visits it. The park is very popular with pinciners as well as informal sports such as football, crickit, rugby, cycling and frisbee. It also features extensive natural trails for walking, jogging or running.

Places of interests inlclude Wellington Arch, located at the southeast corner of the park, which has a war memorial statue perched on top. Visitors are welcome at the arch to view galleries and exhibitions inside.

The park has the famous Speaker Corner, which has been used for political speeches and meetings in the past. The speeches get an air of significance simply because of the venue.

Kensington Palace, Victoria and Albert Museum, Marble Arch and the Science Museum are all located nearby.

Nearby restaurants include Royal China and the Al San Vincenzo, both located less than half a mile away. You will also find the Mandarin Bar and the Dorchester Bar within a mile's vicinity.
