Set on the picturesque and extensive grounds of historic Kenwood House, this is an elegant way to enjoy classical music during pleasant summer evenings. Concerts vary from being a purely Tchaikovsky evening with fireworks to a programme of favourite composers.
Hampstead Heath is beautiful, and very nice at night. Visitors will find a few stalls selling drinks and food, nothing exciting. Marks and Spencer also offers hampers, which look nice but are expensive. You may want to visit the store selling concert things, like lanterns and grease hair do wigs.
The show is set over a little lake, with you on one side and the stage on the other, so take a jacket as it gets a bit chilly by the water.
Admission for adults (on the lawns) is £11 and £13-£18 for deck chairs.
