Boat Race

Two students from Oxford and Cambridge Universities challenged each other to a boat race and thus the boat race became a tradition since 1829. Each year the losing team throws a re-match challege and both teams go rowing in the Thames with a spirit to win.

More than 2.5 million spectators gather near the Thames to watch the thrill and excitement of the race. The start point of the Oxford and Cambridge boat race is the Putney Bridge. The race ends near Chiswick Bridge in Middlesex covering 4 miles.
