Located in Southwark, this eastern European restaurant is quite sleek and stylish. You can find places like these in the West End, but south of the river this is a cool place to dine. The tall open interior used to be a workshop for coach building and has been very nicely remodeled.
The creative menu ranges from seasoned crayfish in vodka butter to venison with cherries, with dashes of caviar, beetroot and blinis in between. Service is as good as the interiors. Most customers come down from the financial district across the river to listen to cool jazz music and enjoy polish vodka, and other cocktails at this Slavic place.
