Set in the heart of Soho's lively nightscape, Ronnie Scott's attracts the best international jazz talent. Famous names like Zoot Sims, Stan Getz, Ben Webster, Bill Evans have all played at Ronnie Scott's. The place has small cocktail tables, dim lights and low murmurs. Walls are hung with black and white portraits of jazz's legendary heroes.
Scott, also a saxophonist opened his first jazz club in 1959 with Pete King as his partner. He was acknowledged by the Queen for his services to jazz in 1981.
The revamped restaurant and jazz club has a new menu, a nice wine list and good table service.
