Mind the gap.

London is a place to see. Travellers must stay at least 3d/4d to see more of London. This not include
the suburbs.

If you're on a hurry tour, you can take hop on-hop off bus for 2 consecutive days for a discounted price.
First day complete the roundabout and select the palaces you want to stop, on the next day you can now
stop to those places you choose to maximize your time.

Buy off-peak day passes for the underground (travel after 9:30am) Look for 'Coffee Republic' locations if you need free wi-fi (for the price of a coffee) To get back to Heathrow Airport, buy 'Heathrow Connect' train tickets at Paddington Station - at 6.50 pounds they are just a bit more expensive than the underground, (but way faster) and 10 pounds cheaper than the much more widely advertised Heathrow Express trains.
-
If you get lost just find the nearest underground station and find your way using this excellent way to get around in London.

Buy the Oyster card for tube travel. Make certain you take the day trip to Windsor Castle if you're a tourist. Transfer to Windsor train at slough. Visit the Tate museums, the National Gallery, Westminster and area. London is a lot of fun.

Stay at Rubens At The Palace and take the Dot To Dot transportation from the Heathrow Airport. Be sure to take the blue bus tour as it was very good. There is so much to see and do within walking distance so get out and walk. If too far take a taxi and have fun and also change your money to pounds.

London is very beautiful, full of culture but be very careful for thieves. It was great cause some english man saw what was happening and helped which I am very grateful ... thank you who ever you are...for the rest I loved it

Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to see all the things we wanted to see. We did take the Big Bus, which was a good way to see the city. It is a beautiful city.

If you are a newcomer to London, definitely use the buses - you see far more of London than you would using the tube. Also London is one of the few cities that are ideal for walking - there are lots of parks, paths along the river, through the city - get a a book an walks through London - it will be worth your while - there is so much of London that you can only see and appreciate if you walk around. Have fun. London is truly a great city for all ages.
